About Us

Welcome to Pacific Beach High School's web site. We are a continuation high school committed to providing an alternative secondary education program for students 16 years or older in grades 10 through 12 who are enrolled in the San Luis Coastal Unified School District. The alternative program allows students to attend high school in a flexible environment that has small classes, a student centered curriculum that can be individualized with a teacher/advisor student support and academic counseling advisory. A dedicated and well trained professional staff provides students at PBHS with excellent academic and personal programs. The staff commit themselves, on a daily basis, to promoting the academic and personal growth of every student who attends our school.

Pacific Beach High School was reviewed by the Western Association of School and Colleges (WASC) and received a full six-year accreditation. The school has been recognized by the California Department of Education as a Model Continuation High School. Additionally, we are enhancing school to work opportunities, career counseling and information on post secondary college and job training options.
