English Learner Support

Our English Learner Instructional Aide supports our students by

Assisting students in reading, writing, speaking, and listening in English, individually and small group instruction.
Translating for EL students and families at meetings, events, etc.

Additionally, assistance is available to our English Learner students and their families when applying to college, financial aid and scholarships.

Work Permit Information

Minors employed in the state of California must have a Permit to Employ and Work (commonly referred to as a “work permit”). Work permits are issued by the school where the student is enrolled. Work permits indicate the duties and location where the work will be done as well as the number of hours a minor may work. The minor along with the parent/guardian and employer fill out the B1-1 form and submit to the minor's school. The school reviews the B1-1 form and issues the B1-4 (Work Permit).

Print and complete the form and return to Ms. Dart. Paper copies are available in the College and Career Center.
